We waited for Hubertus a whole year, so you can imagine our excitement when it was finally the day! :-)
This year the weather conditions were great. Finally we could make the chase for the fox after last year’s bad luck (because of the slippery paths, we had decided that it is safer to hide the fox brush instead of chasing it).
Our Folk Sports Club “Chersoń Bielin” player – Siergiej Leszczyński - impersonated the fox. He didn’t run too far – after few minutes Anne-Katrin Gelhar (Phot. 2) caught him. One week later, during a similar chase, the fox was caught by the brave Gina Nest (Phot. 4). According to the annual tradition, after the chase we organized a bonfire during which we shared our experiences from the game.
We would like to congratulate each participant of Hubertus 2008 for taking part in this unique event and invite you to return next year to try catch the fox again!

Heavy snowfalls made it possible to organize first sleigh ride this year. Of course it will not be the last one!
