DRIVING TRAINING 6-9 MARCH 2008

On the days 8-9 March 2008 there took place a training for drivers of horse-drawn carts from Germany. The training was organized and conducted by Waldemar Kaczmarek, the Main Breeder of the Horse Stud “Bielin”, who is also a contester in the People’s Sport Club “Chersoń Bielin” in driving discipline. Four drivers participated in the training. Three of them brought their own horses, with one two-horse-drawn cart was made provided by the Horse Stud “Bielin”. The training included dressage, driving agility and passing an obstacle course. It was conducted individually for each driver and was aimed at enhancing the driving technique and avoiding obstacles, with an emphasis on the proper line-up of harnessed horses. At the end of the practical lessons, there was a summarizing presentation, where all participants agreed that it is necessary to take part in such events in order to improve their skills, especially since they are lead in so professionally and in a nice atmosphere in Stud Bielin.
NEW YEAR'S EVE 2007

As every year, the New Year’s Eve was an occasion to celebrate not only by horsemen, but also for all those, who wanted to welcome the New Year 2008 in a unique atmosphere far from the city’s turmoil.
New Year’s Eve in the Horse Stud “Bielin” allows the guests to forget about daily problems, life here has a different rhythm than in the city. The life has a different rhythm. First the guests rode by stagecoach and in a charabanc lit with torches. The guests had an opportunity to admire nature’s beauty in the torch light, covered with blankets and sipping on alcohol drinks to keep them warm.
After having returned to the drink-bar everybody could warm up by the fireplace, but they didn’t last sitting for long, as the music quickly lured them to the dancefloor. The tables were full of delicious home-made meals and delicacies, prepared only from natural ingredients. The stuck of midnight was celebrated by a fireworks display, which lightened the sky over the whole Bielin. In one word – the New year’s Eve was a blast!
